Narrative:

Plastic orange cone placed on front of aircraft. Not noticed during preflight. Upon starting taxi prop contacted plastic cone and deposited it to left of aircraft. No drop in RPM. No unusual noise; vibrations or engine readings. No contact or damage to any portion of aircraft. No repair necessary to prop; not even minor dressing. Flew aircraft from airfield to home base. Caused by failure to notice cone in front of aircraft. Can be corrected by strict adherence to preflight and personal procedure (it is the policy to follow preflight with a 'walk around' of aircraft).
