Narrative:

Co-pilot's landing on 27L. Overcast day; wet runway. Landed in first third of touchdown zone. Auto brakes three. Planned turnoff at A1. Normal landing. Upon autobrake release co-pilot remarked brakes spongy and pulling sharply. Control released to me after missing A1. When I applied brakes I could not stop aircraft to make 22; finally stopped by east and made turn. Felt like there were no brakes on left side. Taxied in normally. Wrote up braking. Upon inspection two large basketball sized holes in tires on left side. Two more needed to be replaced due to scuffing. Found that the anti-skid had locked up. This flight was further complicated by left fuel gauge inoperable and first officer's CDU inoperable. This is an alarming trend that our airplanes are sent out with multiple deferrals. There are no parts and no one to fix them. I am starting to feel no one cares about safety except the pilots. I am very sad to see a once great airline start to look like a third world carrier; where pilots are pressured into flying substandard aircraft.
