Narrative:

After a normal takeoff; we had a gear door and gear disagree amber lights and EICAS message. We held over ZZZ; ran checklists; and called dispatch with maintenance on the line. No circuit breaker's popped; cycled gear per maintenance control. We still had the warnings. Maintenance control and dispatch stated that overweight landing was ok. Landing was smooth and no brakes applied until 60kts. I briefed the flight attendants. Rescue trucks followed us to gate after landing and stated that the right torque tube was broken. We left FOD on the rwy and talked with the tower for their report.
