Narrative:
Run-up seemed normal. Aborted takeoff at mid runway. When engine seemed to give less than full power; closed throttle; applied brakes; keeping control and direction at all times. Used hard right brake to miss end of runway lights; going 5 ft past the end of runway. Will need a new tire. No injuries; no property damage.
