Narrative:

Runway 34L GS monitor is constantly OTS and maintenance has informed ATC that there is really no fix for WX related outages. Maintenance has informed ATC that it is no longer being monitored but we have had numerous low altitude alerts for aircraft landing on the ILS approach to runway 34L. The numerous alerts have caused concerns among controllers that the GS may not be working properly. Maintenance claims it was a new ARTS patch that caused this problem; but a flight check has not been requested to verify the GS is working properly. Showing the GS is not monitored is not a fix for the GS monitor problem and is an unsafe practice that should be fixed as soon as possible.
