Narrative:

Departing teb on runway 24 we were assigned the teb 5 departure. At 1500 ft AGL I was supposed to turn right to a heading of 280 degrees. I neglected to do that and proceeded on the runway heading to 4.5 DME. As I was in the turn to 280; the controller told us to turn to 280 degrees. He gave us a higher altitude and handed us off to the next controller. I totally blew this departure. I offer no excuses. I had the procedure in front of me and had reviewed it prior to departure and neglected to follow the procedure.
