Narrative:

Approach control cleared us for the ILS runway 19 teb. Just inside the FAF; the approach controller told us to contact teb tower. I attempted 5 calls on the radio previously being used with no contact with teb tower. I switched radios and tried another 5 times; then back to the first radio with no contact with the tower. By this time we were over the field without clearance to land. The captain executed a missed approach and I contacted approach control again without event. I stated the problem to the approach controller; and he stated that the 119.5 should be working. I went to the second radio while the PF monitored approach and was able to contact the teb tower at that time. The teb tower asked if we still had the field in sight and cleared us for the visual and to land runway 19 teb. While on the visual; we heard a taxiing aircraft trying to reach the tower on 119.5 also. He broadcast 7-8 times to the tower without response. After landing I again tried to contact tower for taxi clearance (ATIS was stating all teb frequencys combined on 119.5) and again could not reach the tower. We taxied clear of the runway and directly into the FBO. The PIC later that morning called the teb tower to inquire what happened; and the controller stated that he could not hear us calling on the radio; that he was in the tower; and that he did not know what the issue was. I believe since we had no other radio problems with other frequencys and that we heard another aircraft who could not contact the teb tower; that the tower controller was having radio problems and unaware.

Title: G3 FLT CREW MAKES GAR AT TEB WHEN UNABLE TO CONTACT THE TOWER DESPITE REPEATED ATTEMPTS. MAKE CONTACT DURING GAR AND ARE CLEARED TO LAND; BUT ARE ONCE AGAIN UNABLE TO CONTACT TOWER AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: APCH CTL CLRED US FOR THE ILS RWY 19 TEB. JUST INSIDE THE FAF; THE APCH CTLR TOLD US TO CONTACT TEB TWR. I ATTEMPTED 5 CALLS ON THE RADIO PREVIOUSLY BEING USED WITH NO CONTACT WITH TEB TWR. I SWITCHED RADIOS AND TRIED ANOTHER 5 TIMES; THEN BACK TO THE FIRST RADIO WITH NO CONTACT WITH THE TWR. BY THIS TIME WE WERE OVER THE FIELD WITHOUT CLRNC TO LAND. THE CAPT EXECUTED A MISSED APCH AND I CONTACTED APCH CTL AGAIN WITHOUT EVENT. I STATED THE PROB TO THE APCH CTLR; AND HE STATED THAT THE 119.5 SHOULD BE WORKING. I WENT TO THE SECOND RADIO WHILE THE PF MONITORED APCH AND WAS ABLE TO CONTACT THE TEB TWR AT THAT TIME. THE TEB TWR ASKED IF WE STILL HAD THE FIELD IN SIGHT AND CLRED US FOR THE VISUAL AND TO LAND RWY 19 TEB. WHILE ON THE VISUAL; WE HEARD A TAXIING ACFT TRYING TO REACH THE TWR ON 119.5 ALSO. HE BROADCAST 7-8 TIMES TO THE TWR WITHOUT RESPONSE. AFTER LNDG I AGAIN TRIED TO CONTACT TWR FOR TAXI CLRNC (ATIS WAS STATING ALL TEB FREQS COMBINED ON 119.5) AND AGAIN COULD NOT REACH THE TWR. WE TAXIED CLR OF THE RWY AND DIRECTLY INTO THE FBO. THE PIC LATER THAT MORNING CALLED THE TEB TWR TO INQUIRE WHAT HAPPENED; AND THE CTLR STATED THAT HE COULD NOT HEAR US CALLING ON THE RADIO; THAT HE WAS IN THE TWR; AND THAT HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE WAS. I BELIEVE SINCE WE HAD NO OTHER RADIO PROBS WITH OTHER FREQS AND THAT WE HEARD ANOTHER ACFT WHO COULD NOT CONTACT THE TEB TWR; THAT THE TWR CTLR WAS HAVING RADIO PROBS AND UNAWARE.
