Narrative:

IFR was canceled 5 mi east and the aircraft proceeded in a left traffic pattern and a stabilized visual approach with winds 12 KTS 20 degrees left crosswind; no other traffic in the pattern. Upon touchdown; power was reduced to idle. A porpoising action was noted with the left wing low due to crosswind while the aircraft drifted towards the right side of the runway. Full power was applied and an uneventful go around was executed with an uneventful subsequent landing. Postflt inspection of the left propeller showed the distal approximately 2 inches of the tips curled posterior. No audible or tactile indication of propeller strike was noted during the initial landing or go around; no loss of aircraft control or engine power was noted during the go around or subsequent landing.
