Climbing through approximately FL230 aircraft depressurized. Complied with procedures. Asked ATC for descent. Started descent before ATC issued it. Clearance received within 2000 ft of altitude. Continued descent to 10000 ft. Meteorological conditions were VMC the entire flight. Supplemental information from acn 779147: a seal from one of the aft doors was faulty causing loss in cabin pressure.
