Narrative:

Taxiway delta was extended recently at tampa international. The construction was completed several weeks ago. The airport diagram maps; used daily by controllers in the tower; have not yet been updated. This issue could be a serious safety concern during low visibility especially with the number of new inexperienced controllers and developmentals working at the facility.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the latest revisions of the airport diagram the FAA produced for tower use; the nos produced chart; and all commercial charts are out of date referencing this taxiway extension as of 9/10/2007. The reporter is concerned about potential error causing conflicts on the runway end.
