Narrative:

At teb; FBO relocated 4 months ago from the north ramp area to the west side of the airport. Transient pilots who use commercial charts have no means to know that the FBO has moved and ATC isn't being explicit with taxi clrncs. After landing; we were cleared to 'taxi to the ramp' and the ground controller was startled when we crossed an active runway while taxiing to the former location. In the short term; ground control needs to query pilots if they are familiar with the FBO's new location. In the long term; commercial chart needs to print FBO locations by name on the airport diagram. Oddly enough; the govt chart (for teb at least) already has this information.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter advised they had landed on runway 19 and; when clearing at taxiway J; advised ground their destination was an FBO which had previously been at the northernmost end of the northwest ramp. Unknown to them and not shown on the commercial resources onboard they took the clearance to clear them to cross runway 6/24 en route to the old location. When they discovered the error the ground controller provided directions but seemed unwilling to discuss the runway transgression; a possible indication of a failure on the controller's part to include some guidance regarding the changed location in the original clearance 'to the ramp.' reporter further advised that the inclusion of FBO locations on the govt chart was unusual; perhaps unique; to teb.

Title: CE560 HAS RWY INCURSION AT TEB WHEN CLEARED 'TO THE RAMP' FOR AN FBO WHOSE LOCATION ON THE ARPT HAD CHANGED.

Narrative: AT TEB; FBO RELOCATED 4 MONTHS AGO FROM THE NORTH RAMP AREA TO THE WEST SIDE OF THE ARPT. TRANSIENT PLTS WHO USE COMMERCIAL CHARTS HAVE NO MEANS TO KNOW THAT THE FBO HAS MOVED AND ATC ISN'T BEING EXPLICIT WITH TAXI CLRNCS. AFTER LNDG; WE WERE CLRED TO 'TAXI TO THE RAMP' AND THE GND CTLR WAS STARTLED WHEN WE CROSSED AN ACTIVE RWY WHILE TAXIING TO THE FORMER LOCATION. IN THE SHORT TERM; GND CTL NEEDS TO QUERY PLTS IF THEY ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE FBO'S NEW LOCATION. IN THE LONG TERM; COMMERCIAL CHART NEEDS TO PRINT FBO LOCATIONS BY NAME ON THE ARPT DIAGRAM. ODDLY ENOUGH; THE GOVT CHART (FOR TEB AT LEAST) ALREADY HAS THIS INFO.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE REPORTER ADVISED THEY HAD LANDED ON RWY 19 AND; WHEN CLEARING AT TXWY J; ADVISED GROUND THEIR DESTINATION WAS AN FBO WHICH HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN AT THE NORTHERNMOST END OF THE NORTHWEST RAMP. UNKNOWN TO THEM AND NOT SHOWN ON THE COMMERCIAL RESOURCES ONBOARD THEY TOOK THE CLRNC TO CLEAR THEM TO CROSS RWY 6/24 ENRTE TO THE OLD LOCATION. WHEN THEY DISCOVERED THE ERROR THE GND CTLR PROVIDED DIRECTIONS BUT SEEMED UNWILLING TO DISCUSS THE RWY TRANSGRESSION; A POSSIBLE INDICATION OF A FAILURE ON THE CTLR'S PART TO INCLUDE SOME GUIDANCE REGARDING THE CHANGED LOCATION IN THE ORIGINAL CLRNC 'TO THE RAMP.' REPORTER FURTHER ADVISED THAT THE INCLUSION OF FBO LOCATIONS ON THE GOVT CHART WAS UNUSUAL; PERHAPS UNIQUE; TO TEB.
