Narrative:

Sic is flying from left seat. Normal takeoff roll. I then see the master warning lights and chime. We see the EICAS message 'hydraulic 'a' fluid low' and 'hydraulic pump 'a' fail.' we negotiate radar vectors and altitudes with bos departure and run the checklist. We returned the gear to the down position and had '3 green' and no red. We land runway 11 at bed. Taxi off runway 11 and shut down for a tug to the ramp. I do an external walkaround while on the taxiway and discover clear fluid dripping from the nose gear well.
