Narrative:

On aug/tue/06; I was informed that while working on aircraft I was assigned to perform an A1 check and that the paperwork issued was for an A2 check. This paperwork was issued by planning and never removed and replaced with the correct paperwork prior to the aircraft returning to service. The cover sheet for the A1 check indicates that it was assigned to me and other mechanics. I do not recall performing any of this maintenance for this check. I am not sure if I actually signed off any of this paperwork pertaining to this check without reviewing the paperwork itself.
