Narrative:

We made a missed approach at ZZZZ because of thunderstorm activity close to airport. Started published missed approach but discontinued because of cumulonimbus and flew a heading that would avoid them. Declared 'emergency fuel' and got priority vectors to ZZZZ1 airport. Landed safely; refueled; and returned to ZZZZ and after WX cleared.
