Narrative:

Entering tuoela valley from northeast could not see student traffic after doing touch-and-go training. Made several calls to announce intentions. On long final saw other aircraft on left base for runway 17. I broke right to clear the area; raised gear. Discovered radio was on 122.8 not 123! Reset communication to correct frequency and re-entered pattern from northwest right base and lined up on final to land. Gear down warning did not sound and from touchdown to stop slid 600 ft. Root cause was mistake to doublechk correct frequency which was different than was accustomed to use. Then stress of other traffic and raising gear and failure to do complete gump put me in accident mode combined with belief gear warning was working.
