On mar/tue/06 I was notified by management of an aircraft incident involving aircraft X. #3 brake was changed. A -700 series brake was installed on a -800 aircraft. This was an inadvertent event. Brake was changed after 1 flight leg.

Narrative: ON MAR/TUE/06 I WAS NOTIFIED BY MGMNT OF AN ACFT INCIDENT INVOLVING ACFT X. #3 BRAKE WAS CHANGED. A -700 SERIES BRAKE WAS INSTALLED ON A -800 ACFT. THIS WAS AN INADVERTENT EVENT. BRAKE WAS CHANGED AFTER 1 FLT LEG.
