Narrative:

While in cruise at FL370 going direct to sav at approximately 60 NM south of sav our TCAS gave us a traffic alert of an aircraft descending towards us. While looking for the traffic; we received an RA that instructed us to descend. I turned off the autoplt and made a 30 degree left turn while descending. At FL360; I received a 'clear of conflict' alert from the TCAS; at which time I notified ATC that I diverted from altitude to FL360 and was in the process of climbing back up to FL370. The other aircraft also reported a TA/RA. The minimum distance between us was less than 1 mi horizontally and 400 ft vertically.
