Narrative:

Operations called to advise me in dispatch of a weight mistake. Flight was loaded incorrectly. Apparently there were 2 pallets per operations that were supposed to be loaded on another flight that never made that flight. It was put on our flight and was not discovered until 20 mins after they were airborne. Operations and centralized load planning discovered flight took off 3238 pounds over maximum structural takeoff weight. I advised flight crew of the weight discrepancy and provided them to revised takeoff gross weights and zero fuel weights. Maintenance duty officer and maintenance flight duty manager were advised of the overweight discrepancy. Supplemental information from acn 689231: flight weight was actually about 11600 pounds less than what the crew received as final weight numbers.

Title: A DISPATCHER RPTS THAT 11600 LBS WAS LOADED ON AN INCORRECT B767-300 FLT OVERLOADING IT WHILE ANOTHER B767-300 FLT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE FREIGHT WAS UNDERWT.

Narrative: OPS CALLED TO ADVISE ME IN DISPATCH OF A WT MISTAKE. FLT WAS LOADED INCORRECTLY. APPARENTLY THERE WERE 2 PALLETS PER OPS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LOADED ON ANOTHER FLT THAT NEVER MADE THAT FLT. IT WAS PUT ON OUR FLT AND WAS NOT DISCOVERED UNTIL 20 MINS AFTER THEY WERE AIRBORNE. OPS AND CENTRALIZED LOAD PLANNING DISCOVERED FLT TOOK OFF 3238 LBS OVER MAX STRUCTURAL TKOF WT. I ADVISED FLT CREW OF THE WT DISCREPANCY AND PROVIDED THEM TO REVISED TKOF GROSS WTS AND ZERO FUEL WTS. MAINT DUTY OFFICER AND MAINT FLT DUTY MGR WERE ADVISED OF THE OVERWT DISCREPANCY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 689231: FLT WT WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT 11600 LBS LESS THAN WHAT THE CREW RECEIVED AS FINAL WT NUMBERS.
