Narrative:

Just prior to closing the L1 door for departure we got a forward cargo compartment smoke warning ECAM. We accomplished the ECAM and discharged the fire bottle per the ECAM. The aircraft was evacuate/evacuationed via the jetway as the aircraft door was opened and the jetway was still attached and the emergency exit slides were not armed. All procedures were accomplished in accordance with fom and flight manual procedures. The aircraft evacuate/evacuation took about 1 min to accomplish. The flight attendants did an excellent job.
