Narrative:

It was my second training flight of the day after having worked all day at my primary job. I was flying with a student during a garmin 1000 GPS training flight; explaining the operation of the system during landing. We received a call to enter base for runway 1L and to follow a regional jet. I do not recall hearing the call to switch to tower but am sure we got one. My student did not respond to the call and we got another call from approach asking if we copied his transmission. I replied we had and returned to helping my student. We did a touch-and-go on runway 1L and proceeded into left traffic for another touch-and-go. It wasn't until turning on left base again for runway 1L that I realized we had never talked with tower. I immediately switched to the tower frequency and advised of our intentions. Luckily it was a slow night and we were the only aircraft on that runway. It wasn't until that point that I realized how tired and preoccupied I was. We did one more landing and called it a night. From now on; I will pay much more attention to what my body is telling me and not fly when I'm that fatigued.

Narrative: IT WAS MY SECOND TRAINING FLT OF THE DAY AFTER HAVING WORKED ALL DAY AT MY PRIMARY JOB. I WAS FLYING WITH A STUDENT DURING A GARMIN 1000 GPS TRAINING FLT; EXPLAINING THE OP OF THE SYS DURING LNDG. WE RECEIVED A CALL TO ENTER BASE FOR RWY 1L AND TO FOLLOW A REGIONAL JET. I DO NOT RECALL HEARING THE CALL TO SWITCH TO TWR BUT AM SURE WE GOT ONE. MY STUDENT DID NOT RESPOND TO THE CALL AND WE GOT ANOTHER CALL FROM APCH ASKING IF WE COPIED HIS XMISSION. I REPLIED WE HAD AND RETURNED TO HELPING MY STUDENT. WE DID A TOUCH-AND-GO ON RWY 1L AND PROCEEDED INTO L TFC FOR ANOTHER TOUCH-AND-GO. IT WASN'T UNTIL TURNING ON L BASE AGAIN FOR RWY 1L THAT I REALIZED WE HAD NEVER TALKED WITH TWR. I IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED TO THE TWR FREQ AND ADVISED OF OUR INTENTIONS. LUCKILY IT WAS A SLOW NIGHT AND WE WERE THE ONLY ACFT ON THAT RWY. IT WASN'T UNTIL THAT POINT THAT I REALIZED HOW TIRED AND PREOCCUPIED I WAS. WE DID ONE MORE LNDG AND CALLED IT A NIGHT. FROM NOW ON; I WILL PAY MUCH MORE ATTN TO WHAT MY BODY IS TELLING ME AND NOT FLY WHEN I'M THAT FATIGUED.
