Narrative:

While taxiing into bur gate with 3 marshallers and all equipment behind the safety line; the #2 engine nacelle struck a ground cart. Postflt; it was noted that the marshaller had apparently tried to park us on the incorrect line; several ft forward of the correct line. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the aircraft marshaller and wing walkers were contract personnel. He had a similar incident occur in feb/05 in dca.

Title: A B737-700 AT BUR WAS MARSHALED TO AN INCORRECT NOSEWHEEL POS STOP LINE AND AN ENG NACELLE STRUCK A BAGGAGE CART.

Narrative: WHILE TAXIING INTO BUR GATE WITH 3 MARSHALLERS AND ALL EQUIP BEHIND THE SAFETY LINE; THE #2 ENG NACELLE STRUCK A GND CART. POSTFLT; IT WAS NOTED THAT THE MARSHALLER HAD APPARENTLY TRIED TO PARK US ON THE INCORRECT LINE; SEVERAL FT FORWARD OF THE CORRECT LINE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE ACFT MARSHALLER AND WING WALKERS WERE CONTRACT PERSONNEL. HE HAD A SIMILAR INCIDENT OCCUR IN FEB/05 IN DCA.
