Narrative:

At XA20 the FD10 printed a strip with 'gi fsf npa ATIS information' printed on it. The XA55 hourly WX sequence was posted in pns TRACON as the current WX for npa - navy pns airport. Since no other information arrived with the strip; I had no idea what prompted the ATIS code change. Getting pertinent; timely WX and ATIS code information from navy pns; north and south whiting airports has been a continuous problem for yrs. It becomes especially critical during rapidly changing WX. The pilots receive outdated and/or conflicting WX information from pns TRACON because the navy does not consider forwarding current information to pns TRACON a priority duty. The navy and the FAA are aware of this issue and have been since 2002.
