Narrative:

I was performing OJT. Air carrier X was descended to FL240. Air carrier Y was at FL260 opposite direction. Air carrier X was descending from FL410 and was not a factor. However; air carrier Z; who was 10 mi in trail of air carrier X; was at FL270 and was descended to FL240. I missed this clearance or thought it was air carrier X. Supplemental information from acn 646133: I was training on the radar position working overflts and arrs into atl. Air carrier Y was an overflt north to south; air carrier Z was an arrival to atl. Air carrier Y was at FL260; air carrier Z was at FL270. Air carrier Z was turned to husky then descended to FL240. Conflict alert did not activate until aircraft had passed.
