Narrative:

At 185 KTS on approach to ZZZ, we put the gear down and got the warning messages 'nose door open and gear down disagreement.' did missed approach and went to the holding pattern to do the QRH. The QRH led us to manually extend the landing gear. Tried to reach company via comrdo, but we were too low (5000 ft). Unable to reach ZZZ operations to let them know. Declared an emergency. Did a low approach to get tower to verify the gear was down. They confirmed it was. Landed and taxied to the gate without further incident.
