Narrative:

Cleared to taxi via A7, taxiway a, runway 18L zbaa for takeoff. Avoiding adverse thrust, we were moving very slowly on A7, turning through 070-080 degrees when a foreign airline's aircraft (twin engine, don't remember noting type as it was dark) came by at a fairly high speed. First officer and I both saw aircraft at same time, and I came to an immediate stop. I feel another 10-20 ft would have put us in conflict. Ground control said nothing to us that we understood, although first officer said she heard something about left, then right being said. Nothing was said by ATC afterward and we proceeded to runway 18L for our departure. Remainder of flight uneventful.
