It has come to my attention regarding air carrier X that the temperature exceedance flag note #1 in maintenance manual 72-00-00 pg 682M. The signoff was referencing the flag note that does not pertain to air carrier's fleet. I asked my lead and was told it pertained to air carrier's fleet.

Narrative: IT HAS COME TO MY ATTN REGARDING ACR X THAT THE TEMP EXCEEDANCE FLAG NOTE #1 IN MAINT MANUAL 72-00-00 PG 682M. THE SIGNOFF WAS REFING THE FLAG NOTE THAT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO ACR'S FLEET. I ASKED MY LEAD AND WAS TOLD IT PERTAINED TO ACR'S FLEET.
