Narrative:

Worked 3RD shift overtime oct/sun/04. Repaired the autothrottle system on aircraft X. Recertified aircraft to CAT 3B status and cleared autothrottle system MEL and CAT MEL. Noticed on subsequent shift that my CAT certification on this aircraft had expired. It is my opinion that some system should be setup on the management side to notify employees whenever their CAT certification has expired and inform them to no longer perform recertification of CAT related system until they are recertified.
