Narrative:

Engineering authority/authorized rev B me-02 was set-up for ZZZ to rework the bonding capability of a ground stud bracket for the dc generator tru (transformer rectifier unit). Only part of the entire procedure was printed up when I worked the engineering authority/authorized on air carrier X oct/thu/04 and air carrier Y oct/fri/04 and I failed to read through the engineering authority/authorized paperwork completely. It was my interpretation at the time that we were just supposed to do the bonding/resistance check when in fact the ground bracket needed to be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. This resulted in the engineering authority/authorized having to be reworked on these 2 aircraft.
