Narrative:

Followed marshaller down throat to park in spot. During turn into parking spot (90 degree right turn) and handed off to parking marshaller, I felt a bump and stopped the aircraft and set the parking brake. The aircraft was shut down without any further movement. Left horizontal stabilizer had struck the left horizontal stabilizer of the B727 parked behind us.

Narrative: FOLLOWED MARSHALLER DOWN THROAT TO PARK IN SPOT. DURING TURN INTO PARKING SPOT (90 DEG R TURN) AND HANDED OFF TO PARKING MARSHALLER, I FELT A BUMP AND STOPPED THE ACFT AND SET THE PARKING BRAKE. THE ACFT WAS SHUT DOWN WITHOUT ANY FURTHER MOVEMENT. L HORIZ STABILIZER HAD STRUCK THE L HORIZ STABILIZER OF THE B727 PARKED BEHIND US.
