Narrative:

We departed on flight to lax. Approximately 5 mins after reaching FL330, captain advised me of a growing crack in his L1 windshield. We advised ATC and flight attendants we were commencing an emergency descent. We completed the QRH checklist for emergency descent and window damage. Dispatch was advised via comrdo. At 10000 ft, approximately 200 NM north of lax with 10000-11000 pounds of fuel on board, dispatch advised us to continue to lax. We canceled our emergency status with ATC and continued to lax with an uneventful approach and landing.
