Narrative:

I was making a VFR flight from ZZZ1 to ZZZ2. Because of cavu WX along the entire 250 mi route, I neglected to get a briefing and did not realize that a temporary tfr was in effect coinciding with abc class B airspace but to 18000 ft. I was accosted by a military F18 about 15 mi inside the class B profile west of ZZZ3 airport and ordered on 121.5 (emergency frequency) to exit the tfr to the west. I did so immediately and completed the flight to ZZZ2 outside all restr airspace. My error was in not checking NOTAMS before commencing the flight to discover the temporary tfr.
