Narrative:

Completing overnight maintenance on work card 6916, a failed fuel pump was idented. There was no replacement pump available at ZZZ, an MEL 28-03A was issued to the aircraft. I released the aircraft by signing the log release due to the fact there were 'printed signatures' in the logbook from the overnight check card. This is per company gpm requirements.
