Narrative:

I was at FL390 but wanted to climb to FL430 in order to save fuel and try to get from ZZZ-ZZZ1 non stop. The aoa was at .2 so I thought I was light enough to make FL430. I reached FL430, but the aoa was too high. I requested lower, but they did not give it to me. The aircraft buffeted and began to stall. I declared an emergency and descended to FL390 at which time I cancelled the emergency.
