Narrative:

Aircraft damaged on ground, tow bar broke during pushback. Push was rough and bumpy. The ramp was full and space limited. Maintenance found damage to the nosewheel push bracket and both tires. They believe the hydraulic disconnect was not working properly. The tow bar had broken on the previous flight with no damage.

Title: B767-300ER ACFT NOSE GEAR AND BOTH TIRES DAMAGED DURING A ROUGH AND BUMPY PUSHBACK ON A CROWDED COMPANY RAMP AT BOS.

Narrative: ACFT DAMAGED ON GND, TOW BAR BROKE DURING PUSHBACK. PUSH WAS ROUGH AND BUMPY. THE RAMP WAS FULL AND SPACE LIMITED. MAINT FOUND DAMAGE TO THE NOSEWHEEL PUSH BRACKET AND BOTH TIRES. THEY BELIEVE THE HYD DISCONNECT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE TOW BAR HAD BROKEN ON THE PREVIOUS FLT WITH NO DAMAGE.
