Narrative:

Assigned to taxi from hangar to gate. I was on radio communication with tower. Got clearance to cross right runway and hold short of left runway. Technician did not stop short of left runway and crossed. By the time I realized that he couldn't stop, we had crossed the hold point and it would be too dangerous for me to hit the brakes and stop, as I think we would have stopped in the middle of left runway. We cleared the actives and parked at gate without further incident. Supplemental information from acn 619547: I noticed an aircraft just landed, but far off. I asked the technician if we were cleared to cross. He said no. We were too far past the hold line, and informed the tower we were cleared. We were then instructed to call the tower after parking. Focus and a better communication between each other in the cockpit. We need to make sure instructions are verified every time.
