Narrative:

1) I have been getting old style filters manufacturer #111790-2 labeled as new style filters manufacturer #856504-2. It's a compliance issue. I ordered all that we have in stock (10) and 8 were the incorrect filters. Now that we have no filters, we need new filters. I also filed the form link and have not heard from anyone. Your help is requested. Could you also get some more filters? I'm job stopping 1 valve today for the above reason. 2) out stations need to be aware of the differences of filters since there are no numbers on filter. 3) received oem and compared it to the repaired ones. Researched cmm and found sb (service bulletin) on filters. 4) send ama out to line stations. Train shipping of difference. Put part number on filter. Tell repair station of change. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated the incorrect surge valve filters were replaced almost immediately when the problem was discovered. The reporter said the required filters were obtained from an outside vendor and all surge valves in stock and in aircraft were replaced.
