Narrative:

I went on a field service trip to ZZZ from ZZZ1 with 1 other mechanic to change a leading edge slat actuator. We were directed to change the actuator by a card entered from maintenance control. We completed the job. FAA mandatory inspection item was not performed. Aircraft flew to ZZZ1. ZZZ1 inspection acp the FAA mandatory inspection item. No problems found.
