Narrative:

After landing at vgt on runway 12L, instructed to taxi to taxiway D, then taxiway C and hold short at runway 12R. Aircraft was ok until my right turn onto taxiway C. Right brake did not hold, it rolled past the hold bar. I cut the engine to idle and applied the left brake, so as to go off the left of taxiway C onto the gravel before entering runway 12R. A beech 99 air carrier was landing on runway 12R and passed along my right wing at approximately 20-25 ft. I had observed and was aware of the aircraft landing on runway 12R, that was the reason for my decision to take these actions. The air carrier was also aware of the situation and had applied full brakes.
