Narrative:

Approximately 25 mi east of centennial airport, during descent, I realized the airplane had a total electrical failure. All radios, gauges, fuel gauges, flaps were inoperative. Approached apa from east, circled looking for light signals. I received none, then entered the traffic pattern for runway 35R, still looking for light gun. Received none. I chose to land, since in my mind, I was declaring an emergency. Flaps were not working and the fuel gauges were reading empty. I became unsure as to the outcome of the flight. After landing and prior to taxi, I then saw flashing green to taxi. I talked to tower personnel after deplaning via the phone.
