Narrative:

While en route from mco to pns, we were given the following clearance. Cew direct pensi direct pns. A short while later, we were given our expected approach into pns (NDB35). In the process of entering the approach into the FMS, the intersection pensi was accidentally deleted. Neither myself nor my captain noticed. Because of this error, after cew the aircraft turned towards its next fix (ie, pns). We were immediately alerted to our error by the understandably agitated controller. We were informed we 'may have entered restr airspace' or something to that effect. (I am still unsure if we entered the restr airspace or not.) once we were alerted to our mistake, we were immediately turned on a northerly heading to get us back on course. We were back on course shortly thereafter. Lack of attentiveness by both pilots towards reprogramming the FMS was a significant factor also. Had we been notified there was an active MOA, both myself and my captain would have been on the highest alert.

Narrative: WHILE ENRTE FROM MCO TO PNS, WE WERE GIVEN THE FOLLOWING CLRNC. CEW DIRECT PENSI DIRECT PNS. A SHORT WHILE LATER, WE WERE GIVEN OUR EXPECTED APCH INTO PNS (NDB35). IN THE PROCESS OF ENTERING THE APCH INTO THE FMS, THE INTXN PENSI WAS ACCIDENTALLY DELETED. NEITHER MYSELF NOR MY CAPT NOTICED. BECAUSE OF THIS ERROR, AFTER CEW THE ACFT TURNED TOWARDS ITS NEXT FIX (IE, PNS). WE WERE IMMEDIATELY ALERTED TO OUR ERROR BY THE UNDERSTANDABLY AGITATED CTLR. WE WERE INFORMED WE 'MAY HAVE ENTERED RESTR AIRSPACE' OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT. (I AM STILL UNSURE IF WE ENTERED THE RESTR AIRSPACE OR NOT.) ONCE WE WERE ALERTED TO OUR MISTAKE, WE WERE IMMEDIATELY TURNED ON A NORTHERLY HDG TO GET US BACK ON COURSE. WE WERE BACK ON COURSE SHORTLY THEREAFTER. LACK OF ATTENTIVENESS BY BOTH PLTS TOWARDS REPROGRAMMING THE FMS WAS A SIGNIFICANT FACTOR ALSO. HAD WE BEEN NOTIFIED THERE WAS AN ACTIVE MOA, BOTH MYSELF AND MY CAPT WOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE HIGHEST ALERT.
