Narrative:
I was on a VFR flight plan (with WX of 3000 ft, 5 mi) at 550 ft. Due to a navigation error I inadvertently entered into the controled airspace at esf. I saw another aircraft at about 400 ft higher and 1/4 mi. I took no evasive action as none was needed. I should have used the LORAN to determine distance instead of relying on visual navigation. I did not feel any danger of collision existed but I did enter into the control zone by accident.

Title: A PLT OF AN SMA HELI INADVERTENTLY FLEW INTO A CLASS D CTL ZONE WHILE NAVING BY PILOTAGE ALONE. THE HELI WAS EQUIPPED WITH LORAN. UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.
