Narrative:

Sfo was using runways 1L and 1R for takeoff, and intersecting runways 28L and 28R for landing. We were in position and holding for takeoff on runway 1R. When cleared for takeoff I advanced the throttles and rolled immediately. As I rotated, at approximately the intersection of the runways we heard a B747 that had been cleared to land on runway 28R, call 'going around.' my first officer looked out the right side window and saw the B747 heading towards us. We shallowed our climb and no further conflict occurred. Probable cause was the tower not allowing adequate spacing between landing and departing aircraft during periods of restr visibility.
