Narrative:

Aircraft came to the gate with the APU not starting. I troubleshot system per the fim (fault isolation manual) and found battery to have low voltage. I ordered the correct battery for the aircraft from our line stock parts supplier. Parts were delivered to aircraft. I installed parts on aircraft. The next day I found that I installed the incorrect battery on the aircraft. The batter I installed on the aircraft tested and operated properly, also the battery was identical to the battery I removed. The correct battery was installed the day after I installed the wrong one.
