Narrative:

On arrival found on maintenance page EICAS bite. Tried to acp bite on maintenance panel, unable due to panel test switch fault. On translation of module number installed M/O 372 found AC panel received from stores and subsequently installed. Later found component dash number for AC did not show effect for AC. Company parts and classification number (pcn) submitted to logistics, obtained part from approved foreign carrier. Fitted to AC and later found part number dash number not effective to air carrier X ipc. Note: panel only use on ground operations.
