Narrative:

During climb, entered icing conditions. A short while later in IMC at 10000 ft, we got a bleed #1 leak EICAS warning. Crew followed company checklist emergency procedures and immediately exited icing conditions. Before the 3 min time, the warning had extinguished and bleed was secured. Requested return to syr. With bleed leak situation under control, we circled around syr in VMC for 30 mins at 3000 ft to coordination with dispatch and maintenance. Good CRM. Captain requested crash fire rescue equipment equipment to stand by as a precaution and ATC declared the emergency.
