Narrative:

Sector was a 2, on a scale of 5, as far as traffic when I sat down on position. I lost use of my headset almost immediately and it lasted 10 mins. When I regained control of sector, it was almost on 5, on a scale of 5, as far as traffic and I was well behind. I should've asked for assistance when I took back over the sector, but I didn't. I was way behind and I never caught up. I descended an aircraft out of FL350 to make a crossing for an aircraft and had traffic at FL330. I simply missed the 2 aircraft.
