Narrative:

Cleared to taxi from gate to runway 22L via taxiway G, taxiway V to hold short of taxiway K. When we started moving we were already on taxiway V pointing towards runway 27R. Shortly after moving forward we realized we were on runway 27R moving west instead of on taxiway V. Runway was inactive with traffic crossing on west end. We cleared the runway at V2. We were on the runway for about 5 seconds. Ground control did not comment and we continued our taxi without further incident or comment from ground control. It was becoming dark and blue lights were leading to the runway as we started moving. The close proximity of runway 27R to our gate when we push off of gate can be tricky. I was still writing down the clearance for taxi when the captain noticed we had crossed taxiway V onto the runway. In the future, I will ask the captain to wait until I'm done writing to move forward. This happened very quickly.

Narrative: CLRED TO TAXI FROM GATE TO RWY 22L VIA TXWY G, TXWY V TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY K. WHEN WE STARTED MOVING WE WERE ALREADY ON TXWY V POINTING TOWARDS RWY 27R. SHORTLY AFTER MOVING FORWARD WE REALIZED WE WERE ON RWY 27R MOVING W INSTEAD OF ON TXWY V. RWY WAS INACTIVE WITH TFC XING ON W END. WE CLRED THE RWY AT V2. WE WERE ON THE RWY FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS. GND CTL DID NOT COMMENT AND WE CONTINUED OUR TAXI WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT OR COMMENT FROM GND CTL. IT WAS BECOMING DARK AND BLUE LIGHTS WERE LEADING TO THE RWY AS WE STARTED MOVING. THE CLOSE PROX OF RWY 27R TO OUR GATE WHEN WE PUSH OFF OF GATE CAN BE TRICKY. I WAS STILL WRITING DOWN THE CLRNC FOR TAXI WHEN THE CAPT NOTICED WE HAD CROSSED TXWY V ONTO THE RWY. IN THE FUTURE, I WILL ASK THE CAPT TO WAIT UNTIL I'M DONE WRITING TO MOVE FORWARD. THIS HAPPENED VERY QUICKLY.
