Narrative:

While landing at 3MY (wind 190 degrees at 6 KTS) runway 17, I felt and heard a pop -- like the right trim ruptured. Approach to runway 17 was normal. Over the fence at 90-95 KTS. Checklist completed. 3 green lights on gear and visual confirmation of gear down. Upon touchdown, the right gear sheared off and aircraft skidded off runway west side. I shut down all power, electrical, fuel, and my son and I exited the aircraft. I have no knowledge of what exactly caused incident. Aircraft received damage to right gear, right propeller and leading edge of wing.
