Narrative:

FAA inquiry regarding altitude deviation TCASII RA. We responded to 2 consecutive TCASII RA's. The first aircraft was approximately 300 ft below. After climbing approximately 300 ft, we received the second RA to descend. We followed the TCASII direction as we had not established visual contact. We then notified ATC of the RA and they seemed uninterested. We were later cleared for the visual to runway 25 and landed without incident. This is the only unusual occurrence that took place on this flight. In the future, it might be helpful if the FAA actually said what was being investigated, ie, our actions -- the TCASII targets, or the controller. Right now we are in the dark as to what is being investigated. I hope this incident is the one in which the FAA is being investigated.
