Narrative:

We were taxiing for departure and went to runway 27 runup pad to wait for cabin to call ready for departure. When cabin called ready, I began to roll to the hold short line and called tower to inform we were ready. Tower instructed us to hold short for landing traffic. First officer was on PA doing 'flight attendants be seated' announcement and did not hear me talking to tower. I was distraction looking for the aircraft on final and allowed the nose to roll 5-10 ft past hold short line as the landing aircraft passed overhead. Due to the displaced threshold, the aircraft passed about 100 ft overhead. Before we were able to report being on the runway, tower cleared us into position and hold. Other aircraft cleared the runway and we departed.
